| Task Force Mission - Explore the opportunities for open source software to improve health care quality, enhance patient safety, and lower the total cost of ownership of technology. Goals - Explore the various dimensions of open source software which included: * Case Studies * Research and Analysis * Determining the value proposition * How To's * Surveys (find out concerns and challenges) * Education * Collaboration * Moving the issues forward Methodology - The mission and the goals will be met through a combination of meetings, educational activities, case studies carried out by members, and the building of a website off the main Health Tech Net site. |
