Healthcare Technology Network of Greater Washington

Welcome to the Healthcare Technology Network of Greater Washington!

The Healthcare Technology Network of Greater Washington is one of the first of its kind for health care technology and biotech companies in the Washington area. Membership is $200 per year, and members use the group for networking, as a forum for the discussion in healthcare technology, and as a resource for finding the latest information in this sophisticated and constantly changing market. The network draws on the expertise of a diverse membership that includes technology specialists, physicians, scientists, venture capitalists, marketing experts and healthcare attorneys.

The network meets in a roundtable format normally on the third Friday of every month at the offices of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Each meeting highlights a timely feature topic, as well as updates on recent capital and financing trends, legal and regulatory issues, and important mergers and acquisitions affecting health care technology.

The network has developed this integrated website, portions of which are accessible only to its members. The website is a valuable tool, allowing members to communicate with one another outside the monthly meetings, post questions, track issues, regional and national healthcare agendas and legislative actions, and find links to pertinent news and academic sources.

The network also has a Program Committee, a Membership Committee, Website Committee, Open Source Task Force and a Public Policy Committee.

The Managing Coordinator of the network is David C. Main, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Please contact Mr. Main at 703.770.7518, or at david.main@pillsburylaw.com with any questions. Thank you.

Meetings are held on the third Friday of every month. For information call David C. Main, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP at 703-770-7518.
